Rockin Robin

From 1980 until 2000, Rockin Robin was the back-up band of back-up bands, performing with over 300 well-known artists in every style of Music. They played 180 TV shows, hundreds of recording sessions, and thousands of concerts as the house band at Little Darlin’s Present on NBC, Wolfman Jack’s Rock and Roll Palace on TNN.
Rockin Robin performed with the fathers of Rock and Roll including Little Richard. Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, and Jerry Lee Lewis. as well as with members of the classic groups The Animals, The Byrds, Spencer Davis Group, and jazz artists Larry Coryell, Doc Severnson, and Billy Cobham.
Founding members Tim and Michael Franklin went on to perform with Joe Walsh, Bruce Hornsby, Paul McCartney, Jon Anderson of Yes, Badfinger and Iron Butterfly. Rockin Robin Live on the Radio is a window into the time when they were traveling the world and stopping at radio stations for interviews.
